With wikipedia on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see the site identity button article) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.

First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)

Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.

This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see Fix problems that cause images to not show.

Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.

where can i find the identity button?

See the link I posted in my first reply.

problem solved, thanks alot my friend

You're welcome

where do i fine the site identity button?

The Site Identity Button is the small website's favicon on the left end of the location bar.
You can also go directly to Tools > Page Info > Media to see if images are blocked by selecting the first image and use cursor Down to scroll through the entire list.

the only thing i see at the end of the location bar is done........where and wat is the end location bar? and when i go directly to tools page info i dont see any thing dat says media :(

The location bar is the bar on the Navigation toolbar where you type the address of the website. At the left end of that bar you see a small icon (website favicon). That is the Site Identity Button that gives access to "Tools > Page Info > Security" if you click on More Information. If you do not see the Media tab as the second tab in Tools > Page Info then you have other problems.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
