I can't tell Firefox to use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to open JPEGs.

I downloaded Firefox from Yahoo. When I used IE and wanted to open an attached JPEG, it would select Windows Picture and Fax Viewer as the default application. When I use Yahoo (or any other e-mail) on Firefox I don't have the option of selecting that app. It's very slow and cumbersome to get around this problem.

The Windows Picture and Fax Viewer is a DLL and is started via a rundll32.exe call and can't be set as an application to handle images in Firefox 3 and later versions.

Try to set Windows Picture and Fax Viewer as the default viewer in Windows.

Then it should be listed automatically in the Mozilla Firefox Browse dialog.
