I have Android 2.3.3 and latest Firefox Mobile. I am connected through Wi-Fi and all images are low quality. Is this intentional from developers' side or problem is on my side?

I want all images be good quality.

In Firefox 5 a fast resizing method is used for images. This can cause images sometimes to appear blurry if the difference is large. This has been resolved in Firefox 6 for phones that support the ARM NEON. We are working on a more general solution to this as well.

Firefox 6? I only saw Firefox 5 in Android Market. How do i know if my HTC Desire S supports ARM NEON?

Firefox 6 will be in the market as Firefox Beta late next week if all goes to plan. Your phone does have NEON. The major set of phones that don't are the nVidia Tegra phones.

Images i see are not blurry, but have pixels on them. They are like zoomed-in images if you know what i mean...
