If I accidentally type a wrong password Firefox stores it and I cannot find where to delete mistakes. These do NOT appear in the list in password manager. How can I get rid of unwanted and incorrect password information in Firefox that does not appear in the saved passwords list???

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
