sound system worked before up-grade now shut off no music or sound

I always list to music when I work on my computer usually CDs or when I watch y-tube my sound has always worked I up-grade and my speakers are shut off and I cannot get them back on

Hi vicd,

It could be a couple of things. You might have accidentally muted audio for Firefox. The article Knowledge Base article What to do if Firefox won't play any sounds will show you how to check.

If that doesn't work, you should look at Fix common audio and video issues. This will show you how to troubleshoot any plugin/extension issues that might be impacting your system.

Clear the Flash cookies (LSO) and settings.

  • Windows Control Panel > Flash Player, click Delete All and Delete Data
