How do I lock my Bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 13.0.1 so that it isn't removed when I run Norton Utilities?

When I run Norton Utilities my Bookmarks toolbar is removed. When I replace it the left-hand Bookmarks icon isn't there, which is a nuisance as I run with the Bookmarks sidebar in place at the left side of the screen. So having replaced the Bookmarks toolbar I then have to customise it by dragging and dropping the Bookmarks icon and then click on this icon to get my Bookmarks sidebar back.

You don't really need that bookmarks icon, {Ctrl + B} opens and closes the Bookmarks Sidebar.

Hi,

You can try to Reset toolbars and controls: and Make Changes and Restart. This would reset the customizations to the defaults and you can try to customize afresh and check if it holds. If the problem persists and Norton Utilities is the likely reason, you could try to configure it accordingly. The Norton support would also be helpful.
