Is windows8 supported?

running latest version of both windows(released ver ) and latest firefox. firefox crashes every time try to start firefox.

hello clarkfb, windows 8 is not yet listed as a supported OS at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox.../system-requirements/.

there are quite a few open bugs that have to be addressed before a firefox version can be released for windows 8, an overview of the ongoing work can be found at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Windows_8_Integration

Thanks very much for the prompt for reply. I'll wait for supported version. Don't really like IE or Chrome.
