I have searched every where. Now here. I have the Conduit Search page every time I open a new page, not ever on my home page. But, I have nothing in my extensions or add-on's that has Conduit. It isn't showing up in my uninstall area, nothing. Any help or experience?

Note just changing the search engine selected in the search box on the right of the address bar may solve some of your problems.

You will need to remove any rogue software. (You may have already done that I see no conduit plugin listed in your System details aside.) The addon searchreset should then be able to sort out any changes that were made. Note that installs, changes settings and uninstalls itself.

Some users have been changing registry settings, but afaik that is NOT required, assuming you have got rid of all the rogue software.

If you do not keep changes after a restart or otherwise have problems with preferences, see:

You can also check the Windows Control Panel for recently installed suspicious programs.

I have just post about it for "how to remove conduit" you can go to this link and can learn the instructions to edit by a forum moderator. Please do not post links to sites advertising & providing paid for support to remove malware. ~J99

  1. Go to "Menu Bar"
  2. Click on "Options"
  3. In "General tab" set your 'home page' (you want to be your default home page)
  4. Click "OK"

Its done, kindly restart your browser.
