Hello, I'm having trouble with the Firefox's back button with my website.

My problem is this one:

I have a 3 steps form for inscription. I fill the 1 part, and validate. In step 2, I want to go back. I arrive in Step 1 but the form is empty.

In other browser, the form is still filled with my information. How can i solve this problem ? Is it a real problem or juste some kind of difference with other browser ?

I'm in firefox 28.0 (tested on FF 27.0) Windows 7.

Its because of AUTO-Form fill up. Try with Firefox Addons

Firefox will normally load content entered in form elements via the cache if you go back, so make sure that the cache is enables and also that you aren't in Private Browsing mode (don't know if that effects form data).
It is possible that the website disables caching data.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

I have tested with the safe mode. Same issue.

I have the cache system enable and the website didn't disabled it (otherwise the other browser won't work either)

And for the add-on, I didn't try it. I don't think that my customer will accept this kind of solution.
