When I click a link on a site, in a search, about 75% of the time, yahoo seach bounces me off the site and onto a search I did not create. How can I fix this?

Yahoo seems to have taken over Firefox, which is my preferred browser; however, if this doesn't get fix, I'll change.

First Yahoo took over all my searches; I seem to have fixed that, but it will occasionally bounce back to Yahoo and I have to reset my preferences to another browser.

If I click a link, say on Google+ or on an article I'm reading or when I'm doing a search, I am directed for a few seconds to the site, and then I'm redirected to Yahoo to a search I did not create. I cannot get off the Yahoo site, if I back space I go to the target site briefly and then back to Yahoo. This is beyond frustrating.

I have three other browsers none of them have this problem; it's unique to Firefox.

Any suggestions to fix this.

Try disabling your Searchme 2.0 extension.

If that does not help, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar.. Then Tools > Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

See if there is still a problem. Then restart.
