Hello,i had problems with my sent folder and had to restore my profile folder to a 3 day old copy, but after that my inbox is missing mail for 16 days, the mail is extremely important as it contains all my orders and working material and i need a way to recover it. Please help me! Right now there is no previous version of the folder to restore once i open its options, neither on the inbox file, what do i do now?

restored what and how is the first question. If your talking about windows restore I am out of here. That is a Microsoft mess I want nothing to do with.

The only constant I can suggest is right click the folder in Thunderbird, select properties and then the repair button to force a reindex of the mail store.

You are right, so basicly its screwed, right?

Well my guess is your "windows restore" has replaced the current file with one 16 days old. hence the missing mail. The reindex would refresh the list to make sure that the file had been replaced and not just the index file. But there is not a lot that can be done when you copy old files over new ones.
