Firefox for Android 31 crashes constantly

I recently reinstalled Android OS on my tablet. Android 4 ICS)

I reinstalled Firefox, and then went to EFF to install their extension. I the discovered I had Firefox 31, and had to settle for a beta version of EFF's add-on.

Firefox keeps crashing. The Android FAQ's are no longer kept up-to-date, and the section covering slowness, crashing etc is absent!

I really need to revert to version 30, only updating when EFF have caught up.

Hi Thursdaycat, It is not fun to experience crashing. Do you have crash ids in the about:crashes page? Please copy the ids into your response and we can troubleshoot what may be the issue.

A fresh reinstall from the Google Play Store may also be helpful.

Thanks for replying.

I don't appear to have an "About Crashes" page.

All feedback boxes are ticked, so feedback should be with Mozilla already

Please tell me if I'm missing something.

The url is about:crashes. Not sure why there would not be any page that comes up, most likely there are no crash reports.

A previous version if Firefox: Install an older version of Firefox is not recommended for security, but for stability, they are also being worked on in the beta version of Firefox.

However if the extension installed is when the crashes started it looks like the extension they make, HTTP Everywhere: https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere is that right? is advertized for a different version of FF

Hi! I still don't know where to go to provide details of individual crashes in Firefox for Android. Never mind. I decided to reinstall, so here's hoping it works better this time round. At least when I went to EFF I did not have to settle for the beta version of HTTPS Everywhere. The stock version installed straightaway with no dialogue box telling me my version of Firefox was incompatible. Thanks anyway. Thursdaycat

I have this problem also. Android 4.2.2 since most recent download

The crash information is located on the url page about:crashes

However if there are non listed there, they may be listed on the about:support page.

I've reinstalled 3 times without success.
