Since last Adobe Flash Player update all flash videos become muted after 1-2 minutes of playing. Only thing that restore sound is to change system volume +1 (or -1). I can't figure any settings which could affect the flash player.

OS: Win7 Pro 64bit (original) All drivers up to date. I tried to reinstall both Mozilla and Flash player.

Update your Shockwave Flash v14.0 r0 http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ The link for Flash Player v14.0.0.179 http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I reinstall both Flash and Shockwave from the links you've posted. Problem persist. In 1-3 minutes any video goes muted.

I've also tried to update my notebook's drivers from official ASUS support site. I've run virus scan and checked for odd software. Everything is legal and I have just few standard programs installed (OS, MS Office, few games, photoshop and VLC player) so nothing what could harm sound setup.

Still wondering what's wrong. It's really annoying to keep messing with volume.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;

Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences

Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.
