Send multi-page text prepared in OPEN OFFICE and copy/paste into email ? Only first page pasted and transmitted ???
The Question defines the problem. The alternative is to copy/paste single pages of the text and email separately or send entire text as an Attachment. But is there a direct a fix for the function in Thunderbird ?

Have you tried pasting without formatting? Ctrl+Shift+V
