COMPLETELY REMOVE FF, without losing Bookmarks?

before I just give up on this app, I'll try ONCE MORE to re-install it, completely from scratch . I want to remove it COMPLETELY; every single trace & temp file. Except I don't want to lose the bookmarks, since I've collected a lot since switching from Safari.

So how do I copy the bookmarks somewhere safe & then scrub every bit of FF out of my Macintosh.

effing software...

What's the actual problem you're having with Firefox? Have you tried using the Reset feature? See: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.

To back up your bookmarks to a safe location, see this article, and save the backup file to the desktop or another non-hidden location where you will be able to easily find them later: Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer.

To uninstall Firefox see: Uninstall Firefox from your computer. I'm not personally familiar with how it works on Mac.

As I note you have other forum posts and are apparently unhappy with Firefox it seems possible you may revert to Safari or some other browser. If you do that it may be useful to export the Firefox bookmarks as HTML

Sorry like the poster jscher2000 I do not have knowledge about Macs.

I removed the last few words of your original post, you are more likely to get help if you stay polite & friendly.

Spent hours installing fresh copy & reinstalling addons.

I had to give up on Safari because suddenly it choked. FF does the same thing.

For decades I kept 150 or so Tabs open with no problems in Safari. FF seems to choke after a couple dozen.
