while signing into/up for sync i entered the wrong email address and i can't change it to the correct one without verifying my email address but its the wrong
Whole trying to sign into/up for a sync anything i accidentally entered an incorrect email address. Since i don't own that email address i can't sign into it nor can i create it cuz someone already has it. I signed up for sync using my correct email address but I'm still receiving the verification screen and i can find no way to get it off my phone. See attached screenshot.

Are there any messages in the Sync log that might explain what happens?
You can open the about:sync-log page via the location bar to check the logs.
