I cannot download email from an existing email account.
I have two email accounts through Earthlink. TB has shifted the default to the second account and I cannot figure out how to shift it back. The second account 9original default account) will not download at all. TB says there is mail, attempts to download and fails.

What you describe is almost always an anti virus program failure.
First reboot. Second disable email scanning and reboot again if the first did not fix it.
