Can I add sites to my tiles tab?

I am interested in directly adding websites into my Tiles list. The auto-add-in function is just not cutting it for me. To clarify, the function it uses seems based on "most visited" pages, not the base website names (usually).

Yes, frequently visited pages.

Could you try the pinning options described in this article: Customize your Firefox New Tab page.

Looks like it's limited to using the Bookmarks feature I never use.

I was hoping there was an actual option (or god forbid, a file!) to directly add-in specific sites I use frequently that are just the base addresses.

It's pretty easy to bookmark the pages... probably faster than typing them out.

You should be able to drag visited website from the history (e.g. from the history sidebar) or the globe/padlock on the location/address bar in as tile as well. You need to hover the about:newtab tab until it opens if this tab is currently not visible.
