I have Sync on several modern devices with all the bookmarks and preferences i like. I found an old laptop that has some old preferences and bookmarks in Firefox. I want to Sync all my modern bookmarks/preferences onto the OLD laptop, but without it copying all the old stuff to my modern Sync devices?

hi, you could try to create a new profile on your old device before you connect it to your existing account and start syncing: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles

I was honestly hoping that there was the option do i Sync TO or Sync FROM a computer. Seems like a very basic option that should exist, pretty much mandatory. The profile making is just not what i want, since i don't want to hide the old bookmarks by making a new profile on the old pc...

there is no such fine-grained control - firefox sync will keep all the devices on the same level...
