why does Thunderbird e mail repeatedly ask me for my internet log in password, even after this has been inputted...repeatedly?

What does 'internet log in password' mean? Thunderbird only cares for your email account password.

Perhaps you have the wrong password or did enter it wrong? You can verify your password by logging into your account using webmail.
