I am getting multiple "options" bookmarks in my saved list--how can I quickly get rid of them and why is it happening? thank you!

For some reason my bookmarks history is full of "options"-- don't know why they are there 

Is there a quick way to delete the multitude of them??

I do have the bookmarks I've save in among them as well

Is this about the Library (bookmarks and history manager) or about the location/address bar drop-down list?

Do you see these items appear only as bookmarks or also as history?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.
