After installing the update to quantum and opening for first time it locked my computer. Rebooted into safe mode and completely removed. Then reinstalled and same issue. computer is fine otherwise and plenty of CPU and RAM. Even if firefox is the only thing running it locks my computer.

hi zoldy2, thanks for reporting this. could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum (or if it's to long through a site like https://pastebin.mozilla.org/ and provide the link here)?

this might give us a clue what is going on. thank you!

I am not sure how i would do that since it freezes my computer when I open it?

are you able to change the accessibility pref i've referred to in this thread while you're in safemode?: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1185287 another surface 4 user has said it might have helped him there...

I will monitor it for a bit but that does appear to have resolved. It does run without locking my PC now.. Thanks
