firefox 58.0 slow loading

Since the 58.0 update firefox is very slow loading. It happens loading my home page, checking my e-mail, google searching, or whatever. Sometimes the page hangs and I have to refresh it. I shouldn't have to wait 5 minutes for my facebook page to load.

I've done all the trouble shooting tips...cleared cache / history, disable plugins, and started in safe mode. still no change.

I've used firefox since 4.0 and it pains me to have to use Microsoft Edge. Ever since the Quantum update I have been experiencing slowness with firefox. After the 58.0 update it has been unusable.

I gone to various pages with FF57.0.4 and now FF58 and don't have the issue your talking about. And other IE11, Edge, Chrome have no similiar issues either.
