Yesterday the newest version (52.5.2) of Thunderbird was installed and now Lightning is gone. I tried the forum, but no help. I downloaded the newest version (file lightning-5.4-sm+tb-windows.xpi) but I don't know how to install this. Double click does not work. Now what do I do???

He easiest way to install add-ons. Go to the add on tab. Click extensions. Type the name of the add-on in the search box. Install.

When you download the add-on file you install it, not open it with a double click. On the add-on tab under Extensions is an icon that looks like a gear. Click that and select Install for file. Navigate to where you placed the file and install.
