Why, when I try to connect to AOL, I either get the message "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable" or I repeatedly get the "..your sesiom has timed out.." message?

I have no problem connecting to AOL using Internet explorer. When I attempt to connect to AOL using Firefox usually one of two things happen: (1) this message appears "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable" or (2) if I get as far as the AOL log in screen I repeatedly get this message when I enter user name and password "Your session has timed out for security purposes while you were away .... lets try again...."

Hi, what Security Program are you running please ? As well Security Extensions as have no information about that and none provided.

Try Oath.com as there is massive amount of links off of there that is owned by them, including AOL. See if you get issues on others.

There is security software like Avast/AVG, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate. Mcafee can also be a issue at times. If you are running any of the above software please check their community forum for a work around to apply settings.
