How to stay put on 52 esr

I have a official version of Mozilla, 52 esr in my job computer. Yesterday it upgraded to 60 esr, which is not approved by my society standard and I cannot reverse to the 52. Every time I reinstalled the 52, first time I open the browser, the upgrade starts. I cannot have it. I already removed no script, because I read that since September, it automatically upgrades on 60 but I cannot get out of this impasse. How to stay put on 52? Do I have remove all my add-ons?

Your Firefox identified itself as version 61, so you might not have reinstalled the Extended Support Release of Firefox 52:

https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/52.9.0esr/

However, that won't resolve the immediate update issue. You may want to set the "Ask me before updating" setting before the next roll-back to see whether that helps.

I didn't use my job computer to post the question. My job computer is going to be reinstalled again :( I used the official version in our firm repository

Look in Firefox folders for a file called Updater.exe and rename it to exe.old

Thank you, I don't have any updater.exe file on Firefox folders. Right now I disabled the automatic check for update and I checked never check for update. And I disabled automatic update on search engines. Let's hope it will stay put on 52!
