i have FF 60.5.0esr installed. created a separate profile for esr and another profile for 66.

downloaded FF 66.0b6. installed it on separate folder in Program Files(x86), upon starting FF, it asks me for a profile. i selected the 66 profile.

now why is it that my browsing history with esr can be used or seen with 66 profile?

The System Details list shows a Firefox 60 version for the user agent.

  • User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0

This can be used by having "Resist Fingerprinting" enabled.

You can use the about:profiles page to check what profiles are available and which one Firefox is using.

Do you mean that it can see the other profiles, or it is loading other profiles?
