Apple Magic Mouse backwards and forwards swipe gestures

Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to get backwards and forwards two finger swipe gestures working with the Apple Magic Mouse? Swipe gestures using the Apple trackpad works for this, but the usual gestures for the Magic Mouse do not (both Safari and Chrome work as expected).

Currently on Firefox 68.0

Any help appreciated.

Thanks, Liam

Got to the bottom of this myself: when swipe between pages is set as swipe left and right using two fingers in macOS preferences, the gesture works for backwards and forwards in Firefox; when this preference is set to use only one finger it does not. An update to resolve this would be useful, but at least I have worked out how to get gestures working in some form. Thanks, Liam
