Thunderbirds crashes with BCC email alias in Mac address book
Thunderbird is crashing, every time, when i BCC an email list [alias]. I am on a Macbook Pro 2013, Catalina 10.15.7, all apps/OS updated. I have made an email list in Mac's Contacts app. I did it often, and it worked fine, up until a couple of weeks ago, around 20 september. Suddenly, adding that alias to the BCC field crashed Tbird without any warning, reproducibly. Can't find any others with apparently this same issue, so obviously i have done something stupid. Please tell me what.
I have restarted the computer. I have deleted the alias and recreated it. I see that my changes in Contacts are reflected immediately in Thunderbird's address window. .... Any suggestions welcome!

The crash doesn't happen if you use a Thunderbird contact in the BCC field, correct?
I don't know how i use particularly a Tbird contact. I start a new email, type an address in the address field, and it autocompletes. How do i make it use a Tbird contact?
But: I made a new contact list only in Tbird, just tested, it worked fine.
Other Mac Contacts aliases also work fine. Only this single list crashes Tbird. And i have remade it. This all points to it being a problem with one or another email address....? But i write those people separately, and the addresses work fine.
