Firefox becomes unresponsive; task freeze and tabs cannot be closed. Only way to resolve is end Firefox task from task manager. Windows 11 64 bit, 64 bit Firefox. Task manager shows high cpu usage prior to ending Firefox. Task manager shows many iterations of Firefox being active. CPU usage is in excess of 2.4Gb out of 16Gb installed on the system. Extensions include adblock plus, stick password, rakuten, Facebook container: two plugins enabled by default in Firefox widevine decryption manager, openh264.

Hi frankaye1946 I faced similar issue before, please follow this instructions and see if it helps. The link is here: Firefox hangs Also it may hang if left open for long periods of time. I suggest to use Firefox's Session Restore feature. The link is here: Configuring session restore. Let me know if the issue is still there or if you have any problems with steps.
