Force webpage to open at top of page?

Every time I open anew a page it invariable displays the page somewhere mid-way down requiring me to scroll up to the top (if page is large enough to warrant a scroll). I'd prefer every page open at the top at all times. Is there any switch in the configuration editor that would allow for this?

Thanks -Ej

That's odd.

These are just normal links, they don't have a "hash" at the end pointing Firefox to an internal point in the page? As example, this URL has a hash:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/https-only-prefs#w_about-https-only-mode

Does it seem that Firefox is jumping to a form, for example, placing the cursor in a search, registration, or sign-in field?

Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?
