After installing 4.0 - a weird gray, double layer of toolbar icons appears above the navigation bar. This doubling also appears in other ways on preference panes. Moving from preference, settting windows back to homepage results in disappearance of usable menus. Something seems to be corrupted. Turning off extensions does not fix this. Any ideas? I had to revert to 3.6 as 4.0 was unusable.

Thanks. Didn't work. I had to trash the firefox folder containing profiles in application support folder. That fixed the issue. I then re-imported a back up copy of bookmarks.
