When I open any pdf file inside of fire fox to view it, my scrolling on all of my other open windows inside of fire fox stop working. I can scroll inside of the open pdf though, but the scroller bar doesn't move with the page. I click a different tab then back on that tab the scroll bar has moved to the right spot, but the scroll still wont move with the pdf document.

I have tried uninstalling Adobe Reader and reinstalling. I have also updated all of my mouse pad drivers and I have uninstalled and reinstalled FireFox. None of these solutions have worked for me.

I have this problem for over a year now. I am led to think this isn't even a problem, but a "feature": when you mouse-over the scroll bar in the pdf, you will see the bar move to the correct location with an animation. animating it means in my eyes that this was intentional.

I fail to understand how Adobe didn't publish an emergency patch for this issue, or how could Adobe think this is correct to not let us know where we are at the document.

it's fixed! they published an update for the pdf plugin. just download it, and you're set!

I downloaded FireFox 5 today and went to the Plugins page and downloaded Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash Player (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:7). I am still having the same problem that I have had for a while now. Where do I find this pdf plugin if it wasn't one of the ones above?
