I tried everything to get my home page to open on my desk top whenever I open foxfire. It does on my lap top and my wife's laptop but not on my desktop. Why?

To reset your home page, do the following.

  • Go to the site you want to set as your homepage.

  • Click the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | General.

  • Make sure it says "Show My Homepage" in the first dropdown menu.

  • Click the button called "Use Current Pages" to set the homepage to the one you have on the screen.

If it the above steps don't fix the problem, then you've possibly got a corrupt places.sqlite file. To fix the problem, please follow the steps in this article: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Bookmarks_history_and_toolbar_buttons_not_working_-_Firefox
