Firefox now loads a search page instead of my Yahoo home page. I do not want this. It will not let me change the home page back; what to do?

Just today, Firefox loads a Yahoo search page, not my original Yahoo home page. I have tried to change using Tools, Options, etc. but it keeps going back to the search page, and a small notice briefly appears stating something about an attempt was made to change the home page.... I have no idea why this change has occurred, but would like to revert to the original Yahoo Home page. This is not a problem on Internet Explorer. Please advise. Thanks & Regards.

You have SEARCHQU installed on Firefox. To Remove it see these posts:

Go to Control Panel and Remove iLivid toolbar afterwards you can change your homepage in Firefox.

Check and tell if its working.

Hi, My name is John, and I'm a member of the Searchqu Support Team. I'm here to help :) When the software was installed onto your pc it offered two basic installs, typical installation, which lists the add-on features such as searchqu homepage, and custom installation, which allows you to select the add-ons that you wish to install. There's no need to worry if you did the typical install - this isn't a virus, nor malware, and there's no need to Perform a virus scan against it. In order to change searchqu as your homepage please check:
