I like being able to back-step to previous pages more than one at a time.

Earlier versions of Firefox used to provide this with a drop-down next to the back button.

Why was this remove?

Is there any way we can get it back?

Or is this part of the privacy settings?

Seems silly to not allow backward navigation within the same browser session, even with security settings.

Either left-click and hold for a brief moment Or right-click on the arrows to get the same.

If you still want the drop down arrow also then see this extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/backforedrop/
