What folder does the install program go when you tell it to "Save"?

The download dialog box only has two choices: Save and Cancel. When I click on Save the program goes to an unspecified location.

If you have set Firefox to remember the download history then you can right click that file in the Tools > Downloads and choose "Open Containing Folder".

See the defaults here:

  • Tools > Options > Main : Downloads

You should update to Firefox 3.6.x or Firefox 6.0 because the version that you use is no longer supported.
