Firefox is totally unresponsive, hanging on one bad web site (bank info) with the green rotating circle on tab. The tab will not close [x]. Clicking on other tabs or on menu selections is inactive. I can close the browser window, but reloading brings up the same tab and still unresponsive. Is there any way to kill tab stuck on a bad web site?

Mr./Ms. Kamini:
This is the first time, that I can remember, that Firefox has ever frozen like this for me, and I have used this bank web site many times before. Tab switches, tab list and scrolling, new tab, menu options, right clicking on toolbox area, html links on shown page are all unresponsive. Window function on top bar do respond. One tab is stuck on the spinning green circle. I am using FF 8.0. I do not know what the abbreviation NGB means.
To fix this problem: Close browser and restart computer (Windows 7). When Firefox is reloaded after restart, the permanent spinner has disappeared.
Hi ... NBG = National Bank of Greece :) This is the banking site that I have the problem with . The 'green circle' is on the page and spins and never completes loading the info . I have XP and Vista . Restarting has not made any difference for me on either machine?
