How do I play online videos? Which formats are supported (i.e., mp4 for iOS, ogv, ogg, etc.?) I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab with the most recent version of Firefox for Android.

Firefox can decode the webm video format for html5. Flash support is in the works. If you are willing to try a very experimental build see https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android#Download_Nightly

I am not having any success using webm. In standard Firefox for the desktop there is ogg or ogv support. Why is this not paralleled in Mobile Firefox?

Firefox mobile can play ogg html5 video.
