Firefox Maintenance Service on Terminal Server?

I'm looking to upgrade our current version of Firefox to 15.0.1 mainly for the memory leak fixes for our terminal servers, but I've read that the latest version comes with the Mozilla Maintenance Service as well.

Can someone please explain how the maintenance service would work within a terminal server environment? Would it update for each user's profile individually when Firefox is launched or would it roll out across all users, or something else entirely...?

Basically, when Firefox is updates, it updates for all users that use that install of Firefox. So if you have 5 users using Firefox, and it updates, it will update all 5 users.

Please keep in mind that you can always disable the maintenance Service. All it does is create a small service when Firefox updates that allows the update to install without creating a UAC prompt.

What is the Mozilla Maintenance Service?
