my PC Backup, Reg Clean Pro & Search Protect ALL piggybacked on my Firefox 26 install, for which I had to override my Norton warning about security issues.

In using your search function, I also have to override a security warning from Norton.

I have windows 7 and full Norton Security

You have downloaded firefox from unofficial site. Sometimes software gets bundled with malware or adware, like in your case. In some cases I would recommend uninstalling (your mentioned software too), deleting FF data directory, and then reinstalling FF from mozilla.org
