Can I want to run the same program on Firefox browser with different log ins?
I have two companies but I want to run the same CRM program on two Firefox browsers on the same computer. I will start both programs but eventually the two programs will merge and have the same log in credentials and I wind up duplicating my data until I realize that the same company CRM is open in two programs. How an I keep both companies open using the Firefox browser.

hello sumrz56, for this purpose you could try the cookie swap addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/cookieswap/
Unfortunately that didn't work. I should have reread what I typed originally ........I need to open 2 tabs at the same time using the same program ( same url address ) but with different log in credentials. Each program has different databases. What happens is the programs are opened properly in the beginning but eventually in about a minute the two programs are back to using one database instead of using their own unique databases. Thanks.
What about using a regular window for one session and a private window for the other session? The session cookies for these should be completely separate.
Following up on my last post, you would need to change your settings on the Privacy panel so that you do not start up automatically in private mode. Otherwise, you cannot get both a regular window and a private window.
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Privacy
If the drop-down is set to "Firefox will: Never remember history" change it to "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history" so you can uncheck the box to always use private mode.
Unfortunately that didn't work either. When I open both tabs and sign in using different log in credentials when I reload the first tab that I opened the program will show the all of the info and log in that the second program shows therefore both tabs are now running the same database
Hi sumrz56, you cannot use two tabs side-by-side in the same window for the private/non-private approach. You need to have two separate windows.
The first window would be in a normal session. From there, open a private window using either:
- Ctrl+Shift+p
- orange Firefox button (or File menu) > New Private Window
Then your private window should have completely isolated cookies from your nonprivate window.
Try this extension to allow multiple separate logons to the same server.

You can also consider to open a New Private Window and open the other account in that window.
