If I retrieved the places.sqlite file from a Time Machine backup, will this allow me to view the browsing history from that time period?

I do not want to restore - but simply view the browsing history from several TM backups and would like to be able to copy and past this history into a document.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance!

You can also consider to create a second Firefox profile folder and copy the file to that profile.

Hello,

The places.sqlite file is a SQLite database, you could read that with any application that can read SQLite databases. Here's a Firefox Add-on that can do that.
