I read this in the wiki

"What about private add-ons used in enterprise environments?

We haven't announced our plan for this case yet. Stay tuned. In the interim, ESR will not support signing at least until version 45, which won't come out until 2016."

When the plan will be announced? We use a private add-on in our company, so we will be unable to use the add-on when FF44 become available. We cant use the developer edition in the company.

Firefox 38 ESR will be supported until May 31st when Firefox 47 and ESR 45.2 are released. https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar#Future_branch_dates

I have seen Add-on developer notes about a request that mandatory signing be postponed beyond the release of ESR 45.0. If that should happen, ESR 45 would be 'good' for awhile. Wishful thinking, as I use ESR 38 as my primary browser.
