How do I disable hovering at suggested sites?
When typing in my address bar you always get the first suggested site filled in your address bar. Pressing enter then takes you to the site. However if you were to hover over another site with your mouse cursor it would take you to that site instead. Is there any way to turn it off? I think this has only been this way since the latest firefox update.

Step 1
Click the "Firefox" button on the top left corner of the browser and hover your mouse cursor over "Options." Step 2
Click "Options" and then click the "Privacy" tab.
Step 3
Select "Nothing" from the "When using the location bar, suggest" drop-down list in the Location Bar section. Step 4
Click "OK" to commit to the changes. This ensures that Mozilla Firefox no longer automatically displays a list of suggestions below the location bar. URL Autocomplete Step 1
Type "about:config" (without quotation marks) in the Firefox location bar and then press "Enter." Step 2 : Click the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button on the warning screen that appears.
Step 3 : Type "browser.urlbar.autofill" (without the quotation marks) in the Search field at the top of the page.
Step 4 : Double-click the "browser.urlbar.autofill" preference to change the value from "true" to "false." This ensures that Mozilla Firefox no longer automatically completes the URL with a suggested option.
I don't know of a way to prevent that, but this should only happen if you move the mouse, so you would have to make sure that you do not move the mouse accidentally or that the mouse pointer isn't in the way or otherwise disable this drop-down list.
This really should only be a problem if you move the mouse on the way to hitting the Enter key. If you take a further editing action in the address bar, whether it is pressing the left or right arrow key or typing a character, that should immediately cancel the selection in the autocomplete list.
Thanks for the answers, too bad it cannot be disabled, since it easily can happen that you move your mouse when using Ctrl+L or when letting go of it to type with both hands.
