Login in automatically to a site
This site doesn`t have "remember" for password only for username (attached) and doesn`t login in automatically and even won`t login auto with "Last Pass" like all of my sites on the computer. Is there a fix for this please?

There are some web pages that do not allow browsers to record or fill in the log-in information. But if you go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) you can find several add-ons that can override this, and give you better control of your password information. You can also try a Form Filling add-on.

Thanks Fred i`ve been using "Last Pass" for a week, but it won`t now auto login even though i have auto login ticked. That`s the only one site that i can`t yet get to auto login. Actually, when i first added Last Pass to add ons it was showing a message on all sites that it was logging in automatically, but then that stopped on the site i`m having trouble with.

You should contact their support and tell them the website. Also, check the settings for the site on LastPass.

Thanks Fred, i`ve sent a ticket to support and checked the site settings on Last Past and they look correct to me. It may be a while for a reply as i`m on Last Past free at present. Cheers.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Good luck and keep us posted.Fred, i`ve been in contact with Last Pass for about a week but none of us has come up with a solution to this site not logging in automatically. I tried it on IE, which i never use, and finally i had the site logging in automatically (see attached) like all several sites under Firefox including this problem one, when i first started with Last Pass, but it stopped auto logging on this problem site. I had done a system restore after first starting with Last Pass.
Would there be someone who may have had this similar experience please? Terry
Only someone else using LastPass would be able to help. I called for more help.

Thanks Fred. Today i tried Last Pass on Internet Explorer and after several tries that Telstra site showed the popup as attached and did auto login. The popup appears for a short time. I have several sites on my computer and all of them login automatically. I thought if i upgraded to Premium last past? Terry
If the free version is giving you a problem . . . . . Wait until the issue is solved first.

FredMcD saidHello Fred, i have been searching for days and no result with or by Last Pass. Today i found an add on/extension named "The Idle Logon", see attached, and entered the problem site, Telstra, and it auto logs on immediately from the bookmark like all of my other sites which are with Last Pass. I`ll wait to see if Last Pass comes up with something. TerryIf the free version is giving you a problem . . . . . Wait until the issue is solved first.Ok Fred. Terry
The choice is yours. Other than a form filler, I let the Password Manager in Firefox do this.

Do you mean Password Manager in Firefox signs you in automatically? and could you show me where password manager is? Terry
Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bar.
Under Logins, Turn on Remember Logins To check the passwords you have listed, press Saved Logins.
For that particular website, the javascript in the page actually runs and clears anything that has been autofilled:
From the sso telstra portal I got this: document.getElementById("pswd").style.display='none';
I took the code from https://portalids.telstrainternationa.../sso?id=PortalLogin&sid=0&option=credential&sid=0

Thank You, i`ve stopped using Last Pass and now using add on "Idle Login" and works well on all sites for auto login including Telstra. I can let Last Pass know what you found. Terry

I`m now using "The Idle Login" add on for Firefox and all of my several sites including the Telstra site login automatically. So, where does the glitch lie, it`s difficult to find, it wouldn`t work with LastPass?
A detail like a website remembering you (log you in automatically) is stored in a cookie.
You can use these steps to make a website recognize and remember you:
- You can create a cookie "Allow" exception to keep specific cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: Exceptions
Let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies instead of using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the cookies. .
- Firefox/Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: Keep until: "I close Firefox"
You can create a cookie "Allow" exception to keep specific cookies.
