The new Thunderbird makes it incredibly awkward to display Sent, Draft, Junk messages etc. !!!!!!!!!!

What were you thinking ????????

I can't even reproduce the way I found the drafts folder, by accident.

Looking at draft, sent, junk . . . used to be so simple before.

AARGGG!

I don't know of any such change. Try to describe the changes you see and we can try to give you guidance on how to undo them.

I reinstalled Thunderbird several times and the problem was solved.

Thunderbird would not display the folder panel which now displays icons rather than text. While text is displayed as hints, it would be better if the first few letters of the folders name were displayed as hints are displayed slowly.

Once I widened the folder panel, I was able to see the text, as before. Silly me!

So everything seems to be alright now.
