Thunderbird will not let me open any messages, search or sort by date.
Have opened and closed program dozens of times with no result. Have changed password and logged in again. I get notices of new messages coming in but I cannot open them. I cannot search emails or open emails. Is there no way to actually contact Thunderbird????

Q: What OS do you use? Q: What Thunderbird version ? Q: Are you talking about an imap or pop mail account? Q: How many mail accounts do you have in Thunderbird and does it effect all or some of them?
Q: Can you select a folder eg: Inbox ? Q: Can you see list of emails in the Message List ? Q: Can you see the 'new' emails in list? Q: Is the 'Message Pane' enabled?
Q: What Anti-virus product are you using?
Q: Does everything work as normal if you start Thunderbird in Safe Mode? Help > Restart with addons disabled
