I have a gmail account that I no longer want to access from thunderbird. If I delete it from thunderbird will it delete it from gmail? And the info that is on gmail? I want to keep that in tact.

NO interaction occurs when an account is deleted. but why delete it. I ask because we often see folk here deleting account is a vain attempt to fix things that require a setting change.
