Where are the bookmark properties stored under version 56?
Under version 56 I used to store information under the bookmark "properties" but after upgrading to version 69 my "properties" have disappeared. Does anyone know where I can find them?

I don't think that you're able to recover this data using bookmarks export in version 69. Perhaps it was possible in 68.
You're simply one year late with the update. You should ask this question somewhere around 62, maybe 63.
To decompress data from the jsonlz4 file, go to this site: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/bookbackreader.html

Hello Twinches2019,
Am I right assuming that you are talking about the "descriptions" ?
If so, would you please take look at this ghacks article :
https://www.ghacks.net/2018/09/11/restore-bookmark-descriptions-in-firefox-with-bookmark-notes/
And this is a link to the add-on, in case you'd like to give it a try :
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bookmark-notes/
I installed the extension and tried importing the current bookmarks file but it didn't recover the older description information that was stored under version 56 :(

It's a lot to read (and to take in), but would you please take a look at this thread and see if it's helptful to you :

Any good ?
That didn't work...but I think I have found my prior descriptions in a backup bookmark folder. Unfortunately, its some sort of JSON file that I am unable to open:
bookmarks-2019-09-13_514_y-KJ7duOq93QIOCN10DVUA==.jsonlz4
I'm going to ask another contributor to come to the rescue here ....

OK...BOOYEAH...looks like I got them!
Went to this site and had it open the JSONLZ4 file...then saved it. After opening it - all of the descriptions seemed to be recovered/intact!
